خلاصه: ABSTRACT Context: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by autoreactive antibodies. Recent findings revealed the importance of innate immune responses, especially Toll-like receptors (TLRs) in the pathogenesis of SLE. Objective: In this study, the level of TLR9 expression on peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was analyzed. The levels of produced IFN-a were also measured in supernatant of PBMCs from SLE patients and healthy controls after stimulation with CpG ODN2216 which is a ... سال انتشار: 2017

Abstract: We compared Th17 and T regulatory cells in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and in healthy controls. The effect of all-transretinoic acid (ATRA) was studied on cultured CD4+ T cells of patients with AS compared to controls. Methods. Eighteen patients with AS and 18 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were included. CD4+ T cells were separated and cultured in conditions of anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 stimulation with and without ATRA. Intracellular and secreted cytokines, transcription factors, ... سال انتشار: 2013

Abstract: The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) and the Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index (BASFI) are widely used instruments in assessment of patients suffering from ankylosing spondylitis (AS). The Patient Acceptable Symptom State (PASS) is regarded as a target for patients’ well-being. The aim of this study was to translate and adapt BASDAI, BASFI and PASS into the Iranian official language, Farsi, and evaluate their reliability and validity. Ninety patients with AS were included in this study. The ... سال انتشار: 2012

Abstract: Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease, characterized by axial arthritis in which the genetic–environmental factors seem to be involved in the pathogenesis of the disease. This study was performed to investigate the role of polymorphisms of the programmed cell death 1 (PDCD1) gene on susceptibility to AS. In this study, 161 Iranian patients with AS and 208 normal controls were enrolled; two single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the PDCD1 gene PD-1.3 (G, A) in ... سال انتشار: 2011
